Parting Shots: Earning the Green Jacket

Being inducted into the Trussway Hall of Fame is a big deal. Founded in 1972, Trussway has six manufacturing locations spread across the U.S. and services single-family, multi-family, and light-commercial construction segments. Thousands of people have worked for the company over the years but only five had received the honor of induction (Rip Rogers, Jim Thomas, John Wiggs, Mark Rolf, and Frank Madden) until recently.

This year, Trussway gave green jackets to Dick Simmons and Bill Patterson, two of their most trusted and skilled salesmen. “Dick is someone our other sales team members and managers turn to for guidance and advice, he knows how to care for our customers and our people,” says Jeff Smith, president and CEO. “Bill has been instrumental in our training and mentoring and has always been the ‘go-to guy’ when jobsite issues arise.”
