Parting Shots: Congratulations Team Burgundy!

You can see a lot in the Fisherman’s Wharf District of downtown San Francisco. Alcatraz. Sea lions. Street performers. Fresh seafood. Crazy tourists. At the SBCA Open Quarterly Meeting (OQM) in August, component manufacturer and supplier members broke into seven teams and took part in a race-to-the-finish scavenger hunt. Not only did each team need to find and photograph famous landmarks, they also had to decipher clues that led them to publicly reenact everything from epic Star Wars light-saber battles to George Washington crossing the Delaware River (see digital edition for video). SBCA’s OQMs are not only a great place to gather industry-specific best practices, they’re also a fun opportunity to build lasting relationships.
