This year’s BCMC educational session lineup includes a session designed to protect your business from product defect litigation. Kent Pagel of Pagel, Davis & Hill, P.C. is slated to present “Construction Defect Litigation: What You can Do to Better Protect Yourself!” The number of construction defect lawsuits continue to increase, and component manufacturers frequently find themselves as defendants. This session will walk through real-world cases, discuss “Dos” and “Do Nots,” and help clarify what you can do to better protect yourself when faced with construction defect litigation. Whether your involvement in a lawsuit is nominal or as a target party, defense costs mount and losses accrue on your liability policy loss runs. This session should be incentive enough to attend BCMC to learn how to better protect your company.

BCMC offers a huge variety of sessions for all types of attendees (including spouses!). Check out the variety of tracks available to plan your learning experience at BCMC. Also make sure to check out the variety of events before, during, and after show floor hours to keep you and your team engaged during the busiest four days of the year for component manufacturers!

We look forward to seeing you at BCMC this October 22-25 in Columbus, Ohio! Register today to “Set Your Course” to learn “What You can Do to Better Protect Yourself" as well as enjoy all the other great sessions, activities and show floor exhibits at BCMC 2019!
