The SBCA board is embarking on the creation of a five-year strategic plan. Initiated at the August Open Quarterly Meeting (OQM) in Savannah, Georgia, this task will guide, redefine and focus on what our membership believes are the association’s 3, 5 and 10 year priorities. Our goal is to ensure we are providing needed support services that truly help each member be successful in the construction industry today and tomorrow. Do you have an opinion on key industry challenges that we should focus on? Board members will be in the booth throughout the show to discuss your ideas and answer your questions.
There are a lot of opportunities for CMs to grow their market share and product offerings in today housing market. A recent SBC Industry News survey found that 83 percent of CMs plan on expanding in the near term. Are you looking for ways to attract new customers? SBCA has collaborated with its members to develop the Component Marketing Toolbox, and more recently it has partnered with Ask the Builder’s Tim Carter to create a series of videos highlighting the many benefits of framing with structural building components. Stop by the booth to see Tim share his views on why roof trusses, wall panels and floor trusses are the best way to frame!
