SBCA Announces IWBC Collaboration
Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is excited to announce a collaboration with Forest Economic Advisors (FEA) on its Industrialized Wood-Based Construction Conference (IWBC), where SBCA is a is a Sponsor for the event. SBCA and the IWBC are working together to highlight the benefits of structural component systems and where they provide great economic solutions for emerging construction techniques, which include mass timber, CLT, offsite framing, and modular construction. IWBC will be held November 4-6 at the Westin Boston Waterfront hotel in Boston, MA. This conference will highlight the future of construction; keynote speakers include John Burns of John Burns Real Estate Consulting, Margaret Whelan of Whelan Advisory, and Phil G. Bernstein of Yale School of Architecture among others.
The IWBC Educational Sessions will include SBCA speaking on a topic yet to be determined. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders in offsite construction and how to participate in this developing market space.
