Alpine will launch the new VisionREZ Takeoff & Estimating Plugin compatible with Autodesk Navisworks 2019 at the NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas, NV on February 19th, 2019. The plugin enhances native quantification, takeoff and output tools inside of Navisworks, providing estimators the ability to coordinate both a 2d and 3d takeoff simultaneously.

Alpine will demonstrate all the features of VisionREZ in booth number SU807, located in the South Hall as part of the NextBuild section of IBS.

“Alpine has a strong reputation for software innovation in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) workspace and we are passionate about delivering on that” said Mark Sedar, VisionREZ National Sales Manager.  “Our show theme is ‘Connecting for the Future’, which aligns with the direction of our clients wants and needs, for integrating many of their existing processes across more platforms.  Alpine is pushing the builder, LBM and CM industries forward by providing software solutions for a truly integrated Workflow”.

Positive Customer Impact

Homebuilders, material suppliers and trades significantly benefit when they understand exactly what has been estimated for a job and precisely where it goes on the job.  A reduction in unnecessary jobsite waste, lost production time and back-charges can be tied directly to better information at the takeoff stage.  The 2019 plugin and our new “Logical Estimating Process” simplifies the most difficult, time-consuming and error prone part of estimating, Framing Lumber and Cornice takeoffs.

Additionally, our process provides an estimator with a logical checklist of takeoff items, to ensure that nothing is unaccounted for.  Completed takeoffs, in the hands of a Project Manager or Framer, eliminates all the guesswork between estimators and the field.  With detailed Package Reports, trades-in-the-field will have the knowledge of exactly what to pull from the pile for every component in the house.
