LP Introduces WeatherLogic Air & Water Barrier Rebate Program

LP Building Solutions is launching a national rebate program for its LP WeatherLogic® Air & Water Barrier system. Now through October 24, new and current dealers and distributors can save $1,000 per truckload of the weather-resistant barrier (WRB) on no more than five truckloads.
“Our WeatherLogic Air & Water Barrier system is incredibly valuable for overall energy efficiency and protection from outside elements,” said Casey Smyth, LP marketing product manager for the product line. “Our rebate program is intended to ensure our dealer network can more easily obtain the product and share its efficiencies and advantages with their builder customers.
Launched in February 2019, the LP WeatherLogic Air & Water Barrier system offers structural defense by protecting against air and water infiltration. The WRB offers benefits to builders during the construction process and to homeowners for years to come.
The easy-to-install WRB consists of two products: a structural OSB with an integrated, water-resistant overlay and the LP WeatherLogic Seam & Flashing Tape, a specially-formulated acrylic tape with squeegee for ease of installation and a cleaner jobsite.
The panels install just like regular sheathing and eliminate the need for house wrap. After the panels are fastened, the seams are securely taped using an advanced pressure-sensitive tape featuring one of today’s highest quality acrylic adhesives, which is AAMA 711-13 approved. The WeatherLogic Air & Water Barrier system provides builders assurance that the home has a continuous exterior air and water barrier for a tight building envelope that is also vapor permeable to allow moisture to escape.
