Alpine's iModel provides tools that enable you to drop the trusses flat top chord while adding the trusses to the layout. There are times when that drop needs to be adjusted. Drop Flat Top Chord can be used to make these adjustments or even remove the drop. By using this tool in iModel you have the advantage of editing multiple trusses at one time.

Drop Flat Top Chord is located on the Truss Toolbar.

Upon activating the tool right click your mouse to view the options associated with it.

Standard Drop calculates a drop distance for the flat top chord which will allow the purlin to pass over the truss. The calculated distance varies based on the pitch of the roof.
