Richard Nesbit, age 76, of Georgetown, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2017. He was born and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia List Nesbit, children, Timothy (Sharon) Nesbit, Georgetown, Texas, Michelle (James) Solis, Pueblo West, Colorado, and Sharlene (Karl) Moore, New Castle, Pennsylvania, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Richard graduated from Shenango High School. He attended Tarrant County Junior College in Ft. Worth, and Texas State Technical Institute in McAllen where he studied Computer Science Technology.

Richard was a Carpenter and Cabinet Maker; Heavy Equipment Operator; Brick, Block and Stone Mason; Custom Home Builder in Florida and Texas; General Manager of Truss Plant Operations in Florida, Georgia and Texas; Sales and Marketing for Truswal Systems, Corp. and Owner of Nesbit Enterprises, Truss Design and Consultation in Pennsylvania and Texas.

His hobbies included golf, fishing and later in life, RV’ing across the United States with his wife Patricia.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 9:00 - 11:00 am with service following at Ramsey Funeral Home, Georgetown. Graveside service will be August 13, 1:00 pm at the Steele Branch Cemetery in Stockdale. In lieu of flowers you can send a donation to LIVE Foundation, Austin Cancer Center, 9715 Burnet Road, Suite 200, Bldg 7, Austin, Texas, 78758, in memory of Richard Nesbit.
