The National Framers Council (NFC) was created to assist professional framers with the challenges and liabilities faced by framing organizations and to move the industry forward in concert with general contractors, suppliers and design professionals. In just two years, the NFC has witnessed a steady growth, covering 13 regions nationwide with Professional Framer Members doing business in more than 40 states.  Additionally, the number of Skilled Subcontractors coming on board is also increasing.

The number of subscribers to NFC’s FrameSAFE Safety Program, the OSHA Standard 1926.20-compliant, bilingual program (English and Spanish) that supports a culture of safety for Professional Framers and their Skilled Subcontractors, also continues to increase. This monumental project shows the NFC’s commitment to provide quality products to enhance field operations for its Professional Framer Members.

For more information on work being implemented by the NFC Membership, Safety and Standards Committees, stay tuned for biweekly member updates via email.  In addition, the Steering Committee will host an online informational meeting on FrameSAFE and other NFC business for all Professional Framer Members in early July. If you did not receive an invitation via email, please contact staff.

If you believe in raising awareness on jobsite safety and educating your workforce to grow the framing industry, then now is the time to get involved in the NFC. If you haven’t already, take the first step and join NFC today to become part of this unique community of like-minded framers, GCs, suppliers and design professionals.  Visit framerscouncil.org for more details or contact staff with any questions you might have.
