ALSC Postpones Decision on Southern Pine Design Values
The American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) Board of Review announced in an email memo this morning it would delay its decision regarding Southern Pine design values in order to hold an additional hearing in approximately 60 days (it will still hold the hearing scheduled for October 20). According to the ALSC memo, the delay will allow all interested parties to have an opportunity to review the data presented by SPIB and comment in person on the technical aspects of the SPIB submission.
