Are More Lumber Design Value Changes Coming?

When changes to visually-graded southern yellow pine design values were initially proposed, it sent a shock wave through the structural building components industry. Today, there are potential changes to the design values for visually-graded Doug-Fir and Hem-Fir species.  It is not anticipated these changes will be as significant, but it may still have an impact on component manufacturing (CM) operations. Kevin Binam, President & CEO of the Western Wood Products Association, will provide an in depth look at potential changes and their impacts both to lumber manufacturers and end users at the 2017 MSR Workshop in Seattle, Washington, April 18-20.  Put this event on your calendar and register online today.
