Editor's Note: Simpson Strong-Tie issued the following statement this Tuesday.
After nearly 34 years with the company, Mike Bugbee, Senior Vice President of Integrated Component Systems, will be retiring from Simpson Strong-Tie at the end of March. Mike has had a very successful career at the company, holding a variety of sales positions. Most recently, he has been leading our Integrated Component Systems (ICS) business segment that focuses on supporting our Truss and EWP customers with product and software solutions – a very fitting role for Mike to finish his career with the company. His influence and dedication to the Truss and EWP industry is at the core of many of his accomplishments. His rich knowledge of our business and strong relationships with our customers have been invaluable, and his talents, industry insights and professional demeanor will be greatly missed. Mike will be passing the baton to our highly capable ICS team, but will serve as an advisor for a period of time after his retirement. Simpson Strong-Tie is very proud and appreciative of Mike's many achievements and wishes him all the best in his next chapter.
