On Sunday, October 5, Anthony Feaster, his wife and their youngest daughter LeeAndrea, arrived at the jobsite to discover they would soon be owners of a mortgage-free home thanks to BCMC Build, Operation Finally Home, Niblock Homes, and NAHB’s Building Systems Councils.

It also took the efforts of labor volunteers from throughout the structural components industry to completely frame and sheath the home in only three days! Thank you to everyone who showed up on the jobsite and helped out.

Several of Anthony’s soon-to-be neighbors were on hand to welcome Anthony home and thank him for his service and sacrifice for our nation.

BCMC Build Committee Chair Stan Sias, Carl Schoening, and other members of the committee had the honor of giving Anthony and his family the first tour of his new home.

Neighbors and BCMC Build volunteers wrote messages of encouragement and appreciation to Anthony and his family.

The BCMC Build volunteers signed a hard hat for Anthony and presented it to him on the jobsite.

Anthony repeatedly expressed his great appreciation to BCMC Build and the many volunteers who pitched in to build his new house.  Here, Anthony stands with SBCA President Scott Ward, Jason Blenker and Rick Parrino. If you’d like to meet Anthony and his family, they will be on hand for the BCMC Build Ceremony as part of the SBCA Annual Meeting starting at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, October 8.

Thank you to all of our generous donors, without whom this home could not have been built.  If you would like to donate to BCMC Build to help ensure next year’s project in Milwaukee, WI is just as successful, click here, or stop by the BCMC Build booth on the show floor this week.
